Contact enquiries
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. The subject is optional. I use these details to answer your question and, at your request, discuss possible arrangements such as a talk. Share only the information needed for your enquiry.
Retention and providers
I keep completed contact enquiries for no more than twelve months after they are dealt with. Contact Form 7 and FluentSMTP do not keep copies of your messages in the WordPress database. Messages are sent through Hostinger to my Gmail address. Hostinger provides hosting and email delivery; Google processes email in Gmail. The hosting provider may also process technical data, such as IP addresses and security logs, to operate and protect the website. Different retention periods may apply to those records.
External services
Video and podcast players load only when you choose to load them. YouTube or Spotify may then receive data and set cookies under their own privacy policies. This website uses a Google Fonts typeface; Google may receive technical connection data when it loads. Links to social media, my blog and payment pages open external services with their own privacy policies. Google Analytics is not configured on this website.
Your rights
To request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, email ihablaachir@gmail.com. Depending on your circumstances, you can also request restriction of processing or data portability, or object to processing. You can complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area; their privacy information explains how they handle this.
