important info

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my first and also pinned  post!

This is where I will be putting important links / things to know. I will be updating this as needed.

First, this is the spotify playlist of all the podcasts I have participated in so far:

and this is my linktree. My linktree is where I put every place I have spoken at so far, at least if it was recorded. I also put in some important links to source material, to spread awareness. like the documentary cripcamp.

Using iDEAL with Patreon (via PayPal)

I’ve been getting a few questions about whether you can use iDEAL to support creators on Patreon so here’s the rundown:

Patreon unfortunately doesn’t support iDEAL or other bank transfers directly.

But it does support PayPal, and PayPal can be connected to ideal. That means you can still support creators using iDEAL indirectly.

When you check out via PayPal, you can choose whether to pay using your PayPal balance or directly from your bank account — no need to manually top up your PayPal.

This also works great if you don’t have a credit card and need to buy something where ideal isn’t accepted.

Thankfully, it is easy to set up an account on paypal.

PayPal also makes it easy to manage your subscriptions or repeated payments, just in case a platform makes it a pain to cancel (some platforms have to ask you a hundred times if your absolutely absolutely sure you want to cancel lol). Just go to your Wallet and then Automatic Payments. You can cancel or change your permissions at any time.

this is it for now, stay tuned.

Yours,
