hello everyone,
I am going to the dutch national demonstration against discrimination and racism in amsterdam.
It is happening on the 21st of march, 14.00 amsterdam time
I am going together with the anti-ableism block.
This is my first time going live in real time, so it will be a nice test. I hope you enjoy!
i’ve decided to not go live directly on patreon. the main reason is that it is a pain to combine with other platforms.
i am using a tool to multistream to a few platforms, and with patreon i have to copy a server url and stream key for each new event i generate.
in practise this means i have to create a live event on patreon, copy the stream details, go to the tool i am using, paste the details in as a streaming destination and safe it. than i have to add it as a destination for my stream. when the stream is done, i have to delete that streaming destination from my account again, as the details are only one time use.
i have to repeat this every time when going life on patreon. on the other hand, i only have to add my account once for youtube, facebook and twitch to go live there. i don’t have to manually add in the account every time.
as it really doesn’t make much of a difference if i share the event here directly or as a youtube link, i have decided to safe myself the trouble. :))
