Hello everyone,

I ran the Utrecht Half Marathon on May 31, and here are the pictures and videos.

This one didn’t go as well as my previous half marathon. It was really hot, and I just didn’t get enough kilometers in during the weeks leading up to it. But I did finish it running, even if only barely, haha.

I hope you enjoy!

Runners in a race on a sunny day on a cycle path between tall trees.
In the middle, a man is running wearing a white shirt, black shorts, a red running vest and a black cap; he is smiling and has a race number on his stomach.
Around him, several other participants are running, mostly in black or dark sportswear, with race numbers on their stomachs.
On the left, behind barriers, there is a row of spectators standing close together; some are clapping, others are holding up a phone to film or take photos.
On the right, there is a strip of grass along the path and further away more runners in the distance.
Above the path, there is a blue circular traffic sign with a white bicycle symbol indicating that it is a cycle path.
The sun is shining brightly, casting long shadows of the spectators and the barriers on the asphalt.

At the front, two men are running next to each other. On the left, a man with a medium skin tone in completely black sportswear, including black trousers, T‑shirt and shoes. He is wearing a race bib on his chest with the text “26.49 IHAB” and is smiling broadly.
To his right, a man with a light skin tone in a white T‑shirt, black shorts, white socks and white running shoes with yellow soles. He is wearing a red running vest and a white cap; he is also smiling. On his chest hangs a race bib with “26.49 JOSUA”. Between the two there is a red strap or cord that connects them, as if they are running as a duo.

Behind and beside them, several other participants are running in sportswear in different colours, including black, white and orange. On the left side of the course, spectators are standing close to a red‑and‑white tape; a few hands are stretched out in an encouraging clapping gesture.

On the right side of the path there is tall grass, and on the left an elevated railway line with overhead wires and a fence. Further back, a blue road sign with a bicycle on it can be recognised, indicating a cycle path. The sky is light blue with some scattered clouds, and the overall atmosphere is sunny and cheerful.
Two runners are smiling together during an event.
In the foreground on the right stands a tall, light‑skinned man wearing a dark blue cap, an earbud in his right ear and a red running vest with two soft water bottles on the front. He is wearing a white T‑shirt with orange trim on the sleeves and has a medal ribbon with text around his neck. He faces the camera with a broad smile and has drops of sweat on his face, as if he has just been running.
Next to him on the left stands a man with a medium to dark skin tone, short black curly hair, and a dark beard and moustache. His right eye is milky white or light blue in colour, his left eye dark; he is smiling kindly toward the camera. He is wearing a black T‑shirt with white and yellow logos on the chest, a black medal ribbon and also a red running vest. The man on the right has his arm around his shoulders.
In the background there is a strip of grass along a road with several people who seem to be taking a break from a run: someone is sitting on the grass with legs stretched out, someone in a dark T‑shirt and orange cap is drinking from a cup, and further away there is a woman with light hair in a ponytail in a light top with her back to the camera. On the left the asphalt of the road is visible, with some cups or litter scattered along the edge. On the right there is dense green shrubbery and trees. The atmosphere feels cheerful and sporty, as if the photo was taken during or after a running event.
